Shelley’s House
So after driving several more hours today, we finally made it to Shelley’s house yesterday. We got here around 5:30-6ish. We ordered pizza from a really good pizza place and ate dinner. It was very good! Afterwards we decided to go swimming for a little bit before bedtime. The kids had a great time playing together! I gave them a bath afterwards and Taylor used a froggy hooded towel. She was so cute. 
Today we did not do a whole lot. After taking the boys to school, Shelley had a hair appointment this morning. We went with her and went to the mall while she was having it cut/colored. It was a regular mall except they have alot of surf stores that we dont have in Texas (of course, what would we need them for?! lol). One of them had a real pool/wave for surf lessons. It looked really neat to watch others and Jamie wants to do it sometime. After her appointment was over we ate lunch and headed to the grocery store for things for dinner. When we got home Taylor took a nap and Shelley picked the boys up from school. Afterwards we let them have popsicles in the backyard. They really enjoyed those!! Then Shelley cooked lasagna rolls and her friend Darren came over. After dinner and we put the kids to bed, Jamie and I went to pick up his sunglasses (he left them at the place we had lunch) and our Disney tickets. I think we are going tomorrow. So Excited!
Florida, Here we come!
We left today for a trip to Florida. We are going to visit Aunt Shelley, Thomas and Meyer. We are also going to go to Disney World, the beach, and hopefully my Aunt Donna, Uncle Bill, and Cousin Amy. I havent seen them since Taylor was in a carrier. Anyway, we are excited to get there and have a great time with family!
We stopped at the Tanger Outlets in Terrell to buy me some new sunglasses, I had lost my wonderful Ralph ones. I’m still sad about it lol. But I did find some nice Armani Exchange ones that I like. They were not open when we first got there, so we went to eat a late breakfast/early lunch at Waffle House. It was yummy!
On the drive around Shreveport, we got tired of listening to music so we stopped at a Cracker Barrel to rent an audiobook. We didnt really know what to get and I was worried most of them would be too girly of a book, so we ended up getting the Da Vinci Code. It was boring at first, but when it started getting going it was much better! It really helped the time go by fast.
We stopped in Jackson, MS for dinner and let Taylor play at a McDonald’s play place for awhile to let her get some of her energy out. She has been doing such a great job on the whole trip! Anyways, we drove all day today and finally stopped in Pensacola, FL for the night.
Alright, well I should get some sleep. Night!
Suprise Getaway
Jamie suprised me for my birthday. I was planning to go to my Mom’s for lunch, while Jamie had to work. Instead he suprised me with a bunch of fun activities. First we got in the car and started driving west. I had no idea where we were going.
We ended up arriving at a ranch to go horse back riding! It was so much fun! I didn’t bring my camera on the ride, because I was a little worried we would spook the horses lol. Now I feel stupid and wish I had taken it. Oh well. We rode with one other couple who were visiting from England. They were a nice couple. The ride was so funny. I was laughing almost the whole time. Not really for anything specific, it was just funny. My horse had a mind of his/her (I don’t remember what it was) own. Jamie kept trying to get his horse to ride beside mine, but my horse was just not having it. My horse also kept farting the whole time lol. and the lady behind me kept saying innocently, “Did you hear that? That horse keeps farting” lol. But atleast he never stopped to pee like the her horse did. I’m laughing about this whole thing as I’m typing lol. Her horse just stopped moving and the lady didn’t know what was happening, she was like, “He wont go” lol. I’m not making fun of her, it was just funny that the horse just stopped in the middle of the trail to pee (but what else are they going to do?). Then Jamie’s horse kept making this horse sound kind of like a raspberry lol, so Jamie kept doing it back to him. Haha. It was alot of fun, and I hope we can do this again.
After the horse ride (which was almost 2 hours long!), we were starving. We stopped to eat and headed back on the rode towards home. But we didn’t go home. Jamie still had more suprises. We ended up going to a hotel in Fort Worth. It was a really nice hotel and I couldn’t believe we were going to stay there! It was still kind of early so we went to Sundance Square to look around. It was a pretty neat area that we had never really been before. We bought some tickets for a comedy improv show, and got ice cream while we waited for them to start seating. When the doors open we went on it and watched the show. It was very cool to see the improv show, because they let the audience write down ideas for skits and they actually picked some of them up and did them. The show was alot of fun and we must do this again!
After the show it was pretty late, so we went back to our hotel. In the morning I did not want to leave, but I missed Taylor so we checked out of the hotel and said goodbye to our mini vacation. It was so sweet that Jamie planned such a great birthday suprise for me! He is such a great husband! I love him so much.

Honeymoon
After packing all night, we got about 2 hours sleep before we had to leave for the airport. we crammed all of our stuff into jamie’s moms little car, with 3 adults and a baby in a carseat. We had 3 pieces of luggage (one for each of us), Taylor’s stroller, a backpack, a diaper bag, and jamie’s moms walker. It was a horrible fit! Luckily Taylor went to sleep on the plane, but for some weird reason they wouldnt let us take her carseat on the plane on the ride TO new york (she got to ride in it on the way home, tho).
The day after we got there we went to the Palisades Mall with Shelley and the boys. We bought some fabric for Taylor’s bedding (that Shelley so kindly made for us), shopped around, and ate lunch at the Cheesecake factory. It was my first time to ever go there, and it was VERY good!
A few days later we went to Boston to visit with Randall and his wife Kristin. The first day we went to a Mavericks game, and got to meet Mark Cuban. He was a really nice guy!
The next day we got to look around and see Boston with Randall. We had alot of fun.
We went back to New York, went in the city and saw The Producers on Broadway. It was okay, but not that great of a show. It was still fun though. I got a few more pictures while we were there of Taylor and Jamie snuggling in a big chair.
Then on the night before we went home, we tried feeding Taylor cereal for the first time.
We had a great honeymoon!
New York
We are going to New york for our honeymoon in a couple hours. We will be there for 2 weeks. I’m not sure if I will be able to update or not while I’m there. but please dont forget me, I’ll be back. with lots of pictures.
