Ruby Tuesdays
Every Saturday, Taylor and I get together with my mom and sister for lunch. Today we went to try out Ruby Tuesdays, because we have heard good things about it and one just opened up (or atleast within the last year lol) kind of nearby. However, we were disappointed with the food that we recieved. We all got cheeseburgers (simple enough, right?!), which is what they are most famous for, but they just were not that good. They were kind of expensive and small for such a high cost. We will not be going back. But they did have a cute entrance way for pictures lol. and the waitstaff were super nice and even gave Taylor a free balloon. Oh well.
Trolley
We decided to go out to dinner tonight at Spaghetti Warehouse, and we couldnt eat there without taking a picture at the trolley they have in the middle of the dining room. You could even eat inside of it if you want to. It was pretty good. We love the sourdough bread and beer butter they give you, yum!
My Family
Yesterday Jamie, Taylor, and I had a fun and busy day. First, we went to lunch with Jamie’s mom at Cheddars. It was very yummy. After lunch, Jamie, Taylor, and I went to the PGA Tour Superstore to look at golf clubs. Jamie has been playing for a few months now and is doing very well. He started with a handicap of 35 and is already down to an 18. Anyway, we ended up finding a few clubs that he wanted (I couldnt really tell you anything personally about them lol). I told him he could buy them for Father’s day (along with a few others that he wanted/already got) to upgrade his set. We will probably still get him something else, but thats the main/big gift. or atleast an excuse to spend so much on something thats not really needed lol. We werent planning to buy anything when we went, but when we found them on sale for 20% normal price (which was already cheaper than anywhere else) we had to buy them. And we tested them out (ok so I didnt, but he did lol), and Taylor got in on the action. She found the little sand pit they had and took her shoes and socks off and jumped right in. It was pretty funny and cute at the same time. I knew it was definately a photo moment!
After we left the golf store we went to the park. I forgot to take my camera with me, but she had alot of fun. When we were about to leave, Jamie’s friend Clayton called. He was down for spring break and wanted to go see a movie last night. So we made plans to watch Semi Pro with him a 9:15. So we left the park and went to Bed Bath and Beyond, where we looked around a little to waste some time. We have a gift certificate from our wedding left to Bed Bath and Beyond, that we want to use to buy some new towels. We found some that were on sale and debated whether to buy them, but we decided to go ahead and wait. We stayed there a little too long, because we had to rush to get something to eat before the movie.
We went to Freebirds for dinner. It was the first time for each of us to go there. We like burritos and everyone kept telling us how much better Freebirds was compared to other burrito places. It was okay, but we didn’t really like their salsa (if you can even call it that since it was just liquid??). We took our burritos (and quesadilla for Taylor) to go and ate on the way home. When we got home we put Taylor to bed and left for the movie (Jamie’s mom was watching Taylor).
We had a pretty good day. I loved spending so much time doing random stuff with Jamie and Taylor. I love my family. ♥
Dinner
We went out to dinner tonight at Pappasitos. We got some good fajitas, queso, and salsa. Yum!
