Halloween
On our way home from school I had to take pictures of Taylor. She looked so precious… Then she decided to give herself some face painting at home… with a marker.
Fall Fest
Our church, First Baptist Dallas, has a Fall Fest to celebrate the Fall season and Halloween. They had carnival games, door prizes, hot dogs, popcorn, a cake walk, a clown show, photo booths, a dunking booth, balloon animals, arts & crafts area, PLUS much more. We went last year and I had to work part of it in the childcare rooms (available for 2 and under) and wanted to go this year without working. It was nice to see all of our friends and everyone I work with dressed up in costumes having so much fun. My sister, Angie, was working one of the carnival games. Taylor wanted to be Cinderella so we got her a twinkling blue dress, a tiara, and put her hair up in a bun. She looked adorable. I wanted to do something simple so I just wore black and added butterfly wings. Jamie went and bought some stereotypical golf attire and went as a golfer, something he loves. We had fun. Happy Halloween!!
Three
My baby is now three years old.
We wanted to do something fun for her birthday but had no idea what to do. We ended up going to Sandy Lake, a kiddie amusement park. We bought a pack of tickets and didnt even get to use them all. Taylor was too short for a bunch of the rides, but had fun on the ones she could go on. We also played putt-putt golf, where I made a whole in one, lol. We had fun. She rode on some ponies and one stopped to poop and Taylor kept saying stuff like “it smells like poop in here” “the pony needs to poop in the potty” and “i dont want my horse to drop poop” lol. it was so innocent but soooo funny.
Anyway, afterwards we went home for dinner and cake. Happy Birthday, my big girl!
Hoppy Easter!
Saturday my Aunt Glenda had a brunch get together for Easter. My cousin Jennifer ( http://jenniferharrphotography.com ), her two children Reese & Macy were there. I rarely get to see them, because they live in Washington. She is an excellant photographer, so I hope she sends me some of the pictures she took on Saturday. My cousin Jerome was there and his cute little girl Olivia. I have not gotten to see her other than pictures from right after she was born, and she is seven/eight months now?! My Grandma & Grandpa were here from East Texas and I miss them a bunch. It was good to see everyone, and I hope it wont be so long before I get to see them again! We also got to visit with some of Ernie’s (Aunt Glenda’s husband) family and they were super nice. We had a blast and Taylor had alot of fun hunting for eggs!
After the brunch get together, I was going to go to my side of the family’s Easter dinner, but I guess communication got mixed up. Noone realized we were doing it then, so it ended up being canceled, so Taylor and I went to spend some time with my sister. I was a little disappointed about the Easter dinner, so this helped to cheer me up a bit.
Yesterday, we went to Jamie’s family’s Easter get together. It was alot of fun too. We had so many eggs that we didnt know where all to hide them lol. Finally we put a bunch right at the door/entrance area of the room that they would be coming out of. It was a handy trick lol. I didnt get that many pictures today, but I got a few.
