Egg Hunt

A local Mom’s group that I’m in had an Easter egg hunt and picnic today. We had alot of fun and met alot of new families. Taylor had a blast playing on the playground and hunting for eggs. We hope to get to know more of the families and ladies in the group and get to know them all better. I got a few pictures, mainly of Taylor.

If you are a local Mom in the Dallas/Ft Worth Area, let me know and I will send you the link to the Mom’s group. There are a bunch of great people in the group. They have a message board that allows for support, advice, playdates and general chat for parents of all types. Its wonderful!

Happy Halloween

I had to work early tonight. I took a few pictures of the kids in Taylor’s class. Afterwards, they let us off early to go to the fall festival they were having. They had face painting, balloons, jump houses, obstacle courses, trick or treating, craft center, hot dogs, cotton candy, ice cream, nachos, a dunking booth, and so much more there. It was alot of fun. Taylor dressed up as Ragedy Ann, Jamie dressed up as a doctor, and I dressed up as a cat. We were originally going to dress up as a themed famly, but we kind of waited until the last minute to decide if we were even going to dress up and didn’t have time to make it work for all three of us. We all looked cute anyway lol.

We saw some friends of ours that we hadn’t seen in awhile; Kassi and her two children, Ashlyn and Isaac. Ashlyn is only 15 days younger than Taylor and Isaac is almost a year old. Taylor absolutely LOVED holding Isaac. lol. She did not want to let him go. We will have to get together with them more often. We would all love that! Hope you all had a great and safe Halloween!

Showers

Today was a busy day filled with two showers that we had to go to.

This morning from ten to about twelve was a bridal shower for Jamie’s cousin, Michael, and his fiance, Lindsay. They are getting married July 21st. Jamie had to work today so his mom, Taylor, and I were just going but Jamie forgot to leave the carseat at home for us to put in his mom’s car (at the moment we only have one car between me and him, so we have to share it and borrow his moms sometimes). Jamie and I bought them a present so I just ended up leaving Taylor with his mom and I went to drop of the presents -and I stayed a bit too- and then go to Jamie’s work to get the carseat. Jamie took his lunch break with me and we went out to lunch. It was yummy mexican food. Mmm.

Anyway, we then we had a baby shower to go to at three o’clock. By the time I got home from getting the carseat and eating lunch it was already two, so we got our stuff ready and left. The shower was for my mother-in-law’s friend Mariyln’s son and his wife. They are expecting a baby boy sometime in July. They had the baby shower at an antique mall that had a tea room. It was a cute place with very good tea. Taylor did not get her nap today, so she was a little cranky at first in the tea room… but she settled down after awhile. As soon as we left, she passed out in her carseat. Poor Baby.

We just got back home and I am a little tired from it all. Just thought I’d leave a quick message before Jamie gets home which should be any minute -and there he is- lol. so bye.

Rehearsal Dinner

This was at our rehearsal dinner. This is Michele (my matron of honor) holding Taylor. We put her in this really adorable pink fluffy dress. She looked so pretty! and it looks like some of Jamie’s fingers got in the way a little bit lol.
