Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Taylor’s first grade class had a field trip to a local Pumpkin Patch today. I was lucky enough to be able to take off work for a few hours to join them. I agreed to chaperone a group of kids and ended up with a great group of four girls. Taylor, Chloe, Karen, and Kayla. :) They were so excited to be at the Big Orange Pumpkin Pumpkin Farm. They got to pet and feed a bunch of animales; goats, cows, sheep, and a longhorn. Then we headed off to a hay ride with the class, lunch at the picnic tables, and then picking out their very own pumpkin! They had so much fun!

Taylor took a field trip to a pumpkin patch with her class. One of the other mom’s sent these to me since I couldnt go (I had to watch the baby and the school asked for parents not to bring any other children if you went).

What a day!

Yesterday was such a busy and fun filled day. Taylor actually just now woke up (and I think Daddy may have actually woken her up lol). We first went to a birthday party for one of Taylor’s little friends from school. It was our first time to go to Pump It Up a bounce house party place, but we had an absolute blast. There are two rooms filled with different types of bounce houses, inflatable slides, inflatable obstacle courses, basketball games, balls and cozy coupes. You get to spend 40 minutes in each room and then time for cake in the party room. Jamie went inside the bounce houses and obstacle courses with Taylor and her friends too. They had so much fun that that was enough to make Taylor tired/exhausted.

After the party we went out to lunch and you could tell Taylor was fighting sleep. She was a little hyper and kept trying to stay moving and active so she would not fall asleep. We went to the mall next. We were looking for new shoes for Taylor and Jamie (found some for both of them at Clarks but are going to wait for payday to actually buy them) and just had fun window shopping. We went all over the mall and completely wore Taylor out. The second – literally – we got back in the car Taylor was out! But we stopped at the grocery store so Taylor woke up to help pick out a birthday cake for Pepaw whose birthday is actually today (Happy Birthday!) and went home for dinner and had a little birthday party for him at home. Taylor still stayed awake to watch a little tv before I made her put her pajamas on and lay down in bed. Minutes later and she was asleep. It was a busy day, but we had alot of fun. :)
