Best Friends
I had to work tonight at the church. I picked up Ashlyn so she could come with us and play with Taylor. Taylor loooves Ashlyn; best friends. Afterwards I let them play a little on the inside playground before it was time to go home.
Dinner with Friends
Our dear friend Mary is no longer working at the church. We love her so much, so we all got together last night and had a dinner celebration for her. We will miss her like crazy… we already do!! I did not get to stay the whole time, because we also had a parent/teacher meeting to learn more about Taylo’rs school. But I did take a few photos and hopefully I will get copies of the photos other people took.
Reunion
This weekend is the 50th Anniversary Chapel Choir and Orchestra Concert at First Baptist Dallas. Friday was the reunion dinner, today was an all day kind of rehearsal and worship, and the actual concert is on tomorrow night, Sunday August 16. Jamie was in the Chapel Choir and was asked to participate. Friday night Jamie went to the dinner with his mother so she could go and I stayed home with Taylor. Saturday I rode with Jamie to the church, and while he was singing, I went to help with childcare. We did not have many children but had alot of teachers, it was crazy! At around 3pm all of the agency workers had to leave, because they were only paid until then, so Kassi and I had about 12 kids for an extra hour or two. It wasnt too bad.
Anyway, after church Taylor completely passed out in her carseat on the way home! She really needed a nap!
RSV
Taylor is sick today. We took her to see the doctor and they tested her for RSV. Poor baby has it! She is doing pretty well considering, just needs LOTS of breathing treatments. She seems to always get sick this time of year and its always breathing issues. Get well soon baby!! Well since I have to take off work while she has it, I worked tonight while Jamie stayed home with her. Here are two of my lovely kids!
