Horses

The saturday before last we had a family get together at my cousin Rena’s house. She lives out in the country and has a horse rescue. We went outside and let Taylor meet some of the horses. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. I tried to get a video of her petting the horse, but everyone was talking so you couldnt hear the noises that Taylor was making to the horse. but I did get lost of photos.

Updates

I’ve been looking over my journal lately and realize that I havent really been updating very often. I’d just like to apologize to my awesome friends. I stay at home most of the time and dont really have many interesting things to say, but I’m going to try to update more often then I have been. I can always make picture posts considering I take photos atleast once a week, often times more then that. In fact I might start updating with photos everyday. I usually try to take one or more photos of Taylor to send to my mom and husband everyday. It helps my mom keep updated with whats going on and helps Jamie pass the time away at work. I can always email them to myself. I dont know. I will have to see how good the quality is on a computer first.

Monday I went over to my sisters apartment while she was at work to clean and organize it for her. She isnt very good at the sort of thing and since I am she offered to pay me to help her out. I didnt get to completely finish it, but its presentable now. Tomorrow (or later today since I havent been asleep yet) I will go back over to her apartment to finish up. All that is left is the actual cleaning of vacuuming and dusting. that kind of thing.

Today was one of the days we pick up Tullia and take her to her Dads. I felt really bad that when we dropped her off she was kicking and screaming to stay with us. I know she loves her dad and has alot of fun with him. I know that was not the problem. I just think she was having alot of fun playing with Taylor, Jamie and I that she didnt want to stop. I hope it didnt bother him or hurt his feelings when she did that. I know it would have hurt mine. I took a couple photos of Tullia and Taylor in the backseat of the car. I even got one of them holding hands. SO CUUUTE!

Tullia

Jamie enrolled for college!!!!!!!! Afterwards we picked up Tullia again today and we hung out with her family. We went to Pottery Barn Kids (Best store ever!!) and then went to eat hotdogs. It is really nice to have the chance to get to know them better. :)

Carseats

Yesterday around 5pm the phone rang and I thought it was going to be Jamie telling me he is on his way home. Instead it was a lady inquiring about an ad I had written awhile back offering childcare/nanny services. She needed someone to picking up and drop off her stepdaughter from the Mother’s house and take her to their house. It sounds pretty easy and I’m excited to meet the little girl. She is two years old. She sounded very thrilled to talk with me and happy that I could come over today to start.

Today I took Jamie to work so I would be able to pick him up exactly at 5pm and head over to their house. We picked up their carseat and headed over to the little girl’s mom’s house. She was the cutest little girl. It made me so excited to see Taylor when she is a little older. We ended up having dinner with the little girls dad and stepmom; Clark and Sabrina. They seemed like very nice people and just generally concerned for the wellbeing and happiness of their little girl, Tullia (pronounced tuh-lee-uh). Taylor and Tullia seemed to really like each other too. It was sweet.

I really like her carseat and would love to get one just like it for Taylor. I will have to ask them where they got it. We will have to buy one for Taylor very soon, because she is currently 19.5lbs. We need a bigger car too. We had to move Taylor over on the passanger side which made the seat get pushed up close to the front. I barely fit without hitting my knees on the dash. Tullia’s seat fit just fine behind the driver seat but I cant imagine what its going to be like turned around facing backwards, which is how Taylor’s seat will have to be until she is a year old. and thats still 3 months away. Atleast it wont be that far away. Nevertheless, we do really need to get a four door.

Stand Up

12

Taylor has been pulling up to a standing position lately. and I’ve actually taken some photos of her doing so, enjoy. Here are some pictures of Taylor pulling up to a standing in her crib. Lately she has been trying to pull up on everything and has even learned (well sort of still new at this) how to sit down after standing up. Its the most precious thing to watch. ♥ ♥ I LOVE being a mom! Who’s with me?!
