Videos and Books
I have been reading the Harry Potter series for the first time. I just finished book 4 and am a little hesistant to read the next ones. I want to read it because its so interesting and I want to know what happens. but I like the fact that I know whats different between the books and movies. I like picturing Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as Ron and Hermione. With the next few books I wont be able to know what they look like. stupid I know, because that is a big reason why people like the books… so they can use their own imagination… but still. I will probably start the next one today or tomorrow. I wont be able to tell Jamie anything, because I dont want to ruin it for him. but I have been telling him everything thats different with the movies and books so far lol. It will be hard.
I also want to read other books too. I tried when I was pregnant and bored at home, but I had no idea who to read. I joined library thing like Melissa, but im not sure if I like the set up. I want to be able to get suggestions and read what people thought about the books they read with a little description of the book. Hm, we’ll see. I want to be entertained. If you have any suggestions for a book, please… I’m open to them. 
Taylor
Taylor is kind of sick. Wednesday we were going to visit Shelley (my sister-in-law) at her mother-in-law’s house before she left on Friday. Before we left Taylor was playing and jumping around and having fun. We get in the car and drive about thirty minutes in traffic and she throws up. It got all over her clothes, all over her carseat, and all over her. Luckily none really got on the car, but poor baby. We stopped and cleaned her off and went to Old Navy to buy her a change of clothes. We got a really cute outfit perfect for Valentines Day but it still cost $40!! After that we got her some pedialyte and continued on our way. She acted just fine and was playing and running around still. I thought maybe it was because I gave her a little more milk than usual since she seemed fine afterwards. I took her carseat out and cleaned it but I have not had the chance to put the cover back on yet, so we have been using Tullia’s carseat (the little girl I drive sometimes).
But today we went to visit my mom and sister for lunch. She was just fine and playing with them acted a little crankier than normal but I thought it was because she didnt have a very long nap like she normally does (which I still think she was kind of sleepy anyway). When lunch was over, Taylor and I met up with Jamie and went to Sams. In the parking lot I got out and went to get her out of the car when she threw up again. Its so gross lol. But I cleaned her up and luckily my mom and sister just gave us some clothes they bought her so we could change her clothes again. Poor girl. She seems fine tho so thats why its hard. I’ve heard a stomach bug is going around but wouldnt she act sick other than those times? She hasnt eaten anything unusual and has actually not eaten that much lately. Thats the only thing odd. But I thought maybe it was because she is being picky and not wanting what I give her. I dont know. I just hope she feels okay. I’m debating if I should take her to the doctor or if I should wait it out a little longer.
I’m so excited. I just ordered some bumpy name labels for Taylor’s cups, bowls, etc. Alot of the moms at the preschool use them and they are GREAT! Anyways, the Mavericks are on and I’m wondering why Jamie is not watching them. hm…
Birthday
Saturday was Jamie’s birthday. We went to the Mavericks game with all of his cousins, brother, and sister. It was alot of fun and we won. Nothing much else has gone on lately. Jamie’s brother and sister go home tomorrow. His brother lives all the way in Switzerland and his sister lives in Florida, so we are trying to spend time with them before they go. I think we might be going to a movie when Jamie and his brother get back from playing basketball. I’m not positive. I dont even know any movies that are out (except the Persuit of Happyness, which we actually saw and is awsome). Has anyone been to the movies lately? which movies are good right now?
Alright well I may go read harry potter. <33
RIP Lily
and no not from Harry Potter.
Our little chihuahua Lily died today. and we are not really sure what she died from exactly. Last night when my brother-in-law went to walk her and bring her inside she was not acting like normal. He called me and Jamie to come outside and look at her. She seemed to be paralyzed almost and could not get up. She would lift her head and start to shake uncontrollably. We immediately picked her up put her in a warm blanket and brought her inside. I thought maybe she was too cold but her body didnt feel that cold to me. We kept her in the blanket and loved on her all night.
I got online and looked up diseases and illness to try to figure out what it could have been. My mother-in-law thought maybe she had a stroke. I dont know. I didnt find much that matched her symptoms. When we first brought her in she looked like she was going to die any minute. As the rest of the night past it seemed like she was getting better, because she could move her head a little better without shaking so bad (only her head would shake not her whole body). We tried to make her to take a drink but she would not open her mouth. My main thought was maybe she had hypothermia (it wasnt that cold outside and neither was her body so I’m not positive this was it). We kept her in a blanket and she went to sleep. This morning she was still doing fine it seemed. I went to check on her again around noon and she was not moving at all. She had died.
It was really kind of sad. I feel awful about it. We have another dog (Lily was actually Jacob my BIL’s dog, but DeeDee aka Deedles is actually my husbands dog) and he is a llaso poo (llaso apso mixed with a poodle) and he was/is just fine. We are going to buy him a coat just in case thats what happen. She may have had worms tho… or a stroke like MIL thought.
Can you take a dog to a vet when they are dead to find out why they died? weird.
My brother-in-law, Jacob, is mentally retarded. I dont think he really understands what death means. I’m not sure. He seems to be doing okay with the sad news, but I hope he really is.
