I babysat Bailey and Yndia over the weekend. Michele gave me her old sprint phone (which is pretty new) since she doesnt use sprint anymore. It has a camera and she gave me all the accessories for it. It was very nice of her to give it to me.

Jamie got back Monday afternoon. When he got back I had a couple baby gifts for him. I had bought the baby a cute little hat that says, “I love Daddy” and a Dallas Mavericks jumper thing that came with a onesie, booties, and a bib. I also got him a card that I signed from baby Taylor. :) He brough back alot of gifts as well. He bought me a couple teddy bears and a really pretty crystal necklace. I love it and it was such a sweet gift! I’m so happy he is at home. He goes back to work soon, so I havent been online the last day or so due to spending time with him (and even longer bc I babysat). but he is off teaching downtown right now. He teaches beginner guitar lessons. He should be home soon.

Jamie left for Europe on Thursday. He is going with his church choir to Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and Switzerland. I’ve been trying to stay busy so I dont get so lonely. I spent most of the weekend over at moms house. Dad gave her some parts and she didnt quite know how to do it, so I had to go over and show/help her with them. I only did six of them and made $54, no so bad considering it probably took MAYBE 3 hours max with “slacking off” time in there too. Thats why I like doing parts. They are so easy for me to do, and they are worth so much money.

In case anyone is wondering, my dads company is a manufacturing company that creates, molds, and assembles computer test chips for companies like texas instruments, amd, and such that eventually get put into plasma tvs. Whenever he has extra work that needs to be done that his in-house workers cant finish in time, he gives the work to my sister, me, my mom, and whoever else he decides to let do them. I just did $2000 worth of work in a week and a half. The only bad part is that we dont ALWAYS have parts. but when it rains, it pours. :)

On fathers day we went over to my dads house and cooked fajitas. They are so good. lol. We buy the meat from a little mexican store where they marinate the meat and stuff for us. Its kind of expensive ($4.00/lbs), but its really good so its worth it to me. My sister brought a cheesecake, and I tried it. yep, I like it. I guess being pregnant has changed that. I used to hate cheesecake and now I think its good. lol.

I found this picture of jamie on the tour website. They update the site every night with new pictures and a summary of what they did during the day. It’s nice to be able to see and hear about their trip on a regular basis. the picture is of Jamie singing his solo on the rhine river. I think he looks really happy in this picture. :) I miss him alot and I didnt want him to go… but I was just being jealous and selfish. but I really do hope he has fun while he is over there. I love him, and I hope he knows that.

My boyfriends computer monitor died, so I had to wait until he hooked up another one before I could update. I went to a dietition and she said I dont eat enough. She said if I didnt start eating more, my baby could be born with birth defects. I dont really understand tho, because I always seem to be eating. I dont hold back on anything either. I guess maybe its because I dont eat regular full meals. Instead I’ll eat like a salad, bowl of cereal, or a sandwich when I’m hungry. *shrug* I’m trying to do better.

Friday, I had my 28 week check up, which included my rhogam shot. I was scared that it was going to hurt really bad. Luckily tho, I barely felt it. When she was giving it to me (with my head turned away) I wasnt sure if she was doing it or not. I felt a tiny sting, but I wasnt sure if that was it or if she was just wiping the area with stringent. She let go of my arm and I was like, “did you do it yet?” lol. It could just be that its been a really long time since I’ve gotten a regular shot, or the fact that I get my blood taken all the time now, and/or that the nurse used to be a pediatric nurse and had to give shots all the time. Well, the baby is good and healthy. :)

One of my last contacts ripped on me yesterday morning. My boyfriend and I went to the walmart vision center (where I buy my contacts) and they wouldnt let me buy any because my prescription expired at the end of may. but because I’m pregnant, my vision is a little off. I barely notice, but my OB told me not to get them checked until after she is born bc pregnancy makes vision a little worse. and the optometrist was closed on Sundays. So yesterday and today I’ve had to go without being able to see. Luckily I can see up close, but thats all. I’m like 3-4ft away from the tv and It’s a little blurry still. This is horrible. I cant see to drive, so after my boyfriend gets off work (which hopefully the optometrist isnt closed by then), I’m going to my optometrist and hope they give me a temp prescription until after the baby is born. ugh.

Okay, well I’m off to eat something. lol.
